We Need Knowledge-Consumed Colonies December 23, 2009

  • This is SMART. We are slowly establishing what our movement and objective is all about. Our followers have increased significantly since the movement has started and it’s great to see this. Although we are slowly growing, we are becoming disliked by many people who have no real purpose or reason behind their hatred. Its sad too see this, I mean if people don’t want to make “SMART” cool, does that mean we live in a society where people prefer to be stupid and uneducated? It’s absurd… and we’ll collaborate on that in later blogs. Now, on to the important discussion.

  • We need to be “SMART”. We have to create a small colony where knowledge controls. By being “SMART” and having knowledge we can truly spread the word about this movement and open peoples minds to different theories and perspectives of life. Slowly, Prince Ea, the team and I are all working on improving this website [www.makesmartcool.com] to explain to all of our followers what exactly we are trying to achieve. Right now we are in the development phase of this movement and website. So, we are slowly renovating the site and asking people to spread the word. When people hear about this movement and how their friends are following it, they will want to understand our objective. Once obtaining the background knowledge of this movement for themselves, they will want to hop on the wagon and ultimately, Make “SMART” Cool.
  • This isn’t one of those corporate, major money-making corporations. We are not a highly-profitable movement. The reason we will be selling shirts and sweaters is because we have to generate some sort of revenue to keep the site going, purchase hosting plans and to create awareness for our movement through means of advertisement.
  • People have to change. We can no longer rely on corrupt media to give us information regarding literally everything. We have to start researching and examining whats given to us. By being “SMART” and following this movement, we can do that. We want our followers to truly become “SMART”. If we constantly keep learning, we can never be questioned or lose a debate.. we need a basis of knowledge for everything.

These are just my random thoughts…

Def Agree with this

I think this is definitely taking a step in the right direction. Should we have a suggested list of books on a range of topics though? Would that help people….

Its important to try to find your own books which create interest to yourself and build your own stabilized opinion on such topics that way there is room for debate and not everyone is following the same views on everything like they have done to the world today. However suggesting books to read cannot hurt anybody either. :p

I greatly agree with the Knowledge-Consumed Colonies. I Like where this movement is starting to go.

Just my To Sence

Me, being very young, believe that you should try to target your area of people torwards the younger audience. Also, its much easier to learn when younger. People are still adapting to the way the world is instead of knowing how it really is. Not only that, but its much more difficult to change someone’s mind then to teach it to them before they have any other kinds of ideas about it.

As for the books, i think its a great idea. It would give people a basis of what this is.

I do believe it is necessary to target the children at a younger age however I do not believe the goal is to set someones mind on a certain topic but rather create an awareness of intelligence. I am not part of the administrative staff so I would not know the goals exactly but I am under the belief that they mostly just want people to ask questions and explore the other side of what society has set in stone to be the “norm”.

And as far as the book idea, suggesting certain books would not really give a basis of what the movement is about. Suggesting to read as many as you can would be more of what this is all about.

Again, just my to sence, I am not part of staff but I do fully support the idea of learning as much as possible.

Yes, i agree. Just learn as much as you can.

Woah. I was just saying that because we’re still “in the dark”. Yes I know being a part of Sophisticating Millions and Revolutionizing Thought is what we’re here for, hence the name, but it isn’t limited to just book. Movies, plays, music, etc. are all excellent choices in helping to change thought. Maybe I worded my original statement wrong though. Maybe I meant….we could discuss a few books. 🙂
